Apple Day – Sunday 19th Oct 2014

DSCN6180

Hi again, do you remember seeing us at the hugely popular annual Apple Day. Here we are looking ready for a busy day of selling and sampling fruit, jams and so much more. The pork cobs were so popular this year that we sold out of the delicious pork, crackling and apple sauce. Anyhow, enough of this rambling, just to let you know that there are a few images from Apple Day on the ‘Gallery’ page. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our society. Hope to see more new faces at future evening talks and visits.

APPLE DAY THANKS

A big thank you to everyone who was part of this year’s Apple Day.  It was a very successful show with a lovely atmosphere.  We had more visitors than last year and sold 100s of apples and jars of jam!  The pork rolls were delicious and teas and cakes went down very well too.

Thanks to everyone who helped out in any way.

Any members of the Society who didn’t get their 5 free Falconet Narcissus bulbs to grow for next year’s Spring Show – please let us know.
